TAKASKO Life Care Initiative

A beacon of hope for vulnerable communities in Kwara State since 2020

TAKASKO is a non-governmental organization officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/8696573) in August 2025. We are dedicated to enhancing community involvement in critical areas including poverty alleviation, governance and transparency, human rights, education, health, and development.

Did you know?

Takasko operates a Safe Home for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, providing temporary shelter, healthcare, psychosocial support, meals, and education assistance in a safe and nurturing environment.

Takasko Life Care Initiative has supported over 100 orphans and vulnerable children through education and economic assistance, even without consistent donor funding.

Takasko conducts monthly Sexual and Reproductive Health education in 10 schools across Kwara State, helping improve menstrual hygiene management and reproductive health awareness among boys and girls.

Over 80 widows have been empowered by Takasko with cash support and livelihood materials to improve economic independence and household stability.
